On the existence of a competitive equilibrium revisited

Résumé. Dans cet article basé sur l'approche de Negishi, ce papier présente une preuve simple de l'existence d'un équilibre dans une économie Arrow-Debreu, en autorisant des prix négatifs. En particulier, nous prouvons que sous l'hypothèse de non-satiation locale, le vecteur prix est non nul.

Abstract. Following Negishi's work, this paper presents a simple proof of the existence of equilibria in Arrow-Debreu economies, allowing negative prices. In particular, we prove that the equilibrium prices are a nonnull vector in the norm-1 unit ball.
